Curriculum

Our Pre-Law Academy offers a comprehensive Curriculum designed to introduce Middle and High School students to the field of law, fostering critical thinking, analytical skills, and a deep understanding of legal principles.

All law courses are delivered by experienced law professors or advanced law students, ensuring an authentic and rigorous educational experience, in addition to our debate/mock trial courses, those are led by professionals with more than 5 years in the field.

Parts of a Case Law:

  • Parties: These are the people or organizations involved in the case. They’re often referred to as the plaintiff (the one who brings the lawsuit) and the defendant (the one being sued).
  • Facts: These are the important details of the case, like what happened, when it happened, and who was involved.
  • Legal Issue: This is the main question the court needs to answer. It’s often a legal question, like “Does the First Amendment protect flag burning?”
  • Holding: This is the court’s decision on the legal issue. It’s the answer to the question they were asked.
  • Reasoning: This is the explanation for the court’s decision. It’s like the reasoning behind a math problem. The court explains why they chose a specific holding.
