Biography

Cassandre Champagne Agahro is a dynamic lawyer, dedicated mother, and passionate advocate for education and community engagement. The daughter of Haitian immigrant parents, at 42 years old, she balances her roles as a devoted wife and mother of three, having homeschooled her children for several years, instilling in them a love for learning and critical thinking.

Her career began with a rewarding six-year tenure as a classroom teacher, where she honed her ability to inspire young minds and foster critical thinking. During this time, she taught abroad, immersing herself in diverse cultures and languages, which broadened her worldview and deepened her commitment to inclusive education. Extending her impact beyond the classroom, Cassandre became a motivational speaker, delivering talks on health and education at schools and nonprofit organizations across the country.

Feeling a calling to expand her influence through advocacy, Cassandre pursued law school, where she cultivated a sharp legal mind and a passion for justice. She developed a background in family, elder, and immigration law, drawing on her teaching experience to communicate complex concepts with clarity and empathy. Yet, even as she advanced in the legal field, she missed the direct, transformative interactions with students and educators that had defined her early career.

This longing led her to found the *Pre-Law Academy, a groundbreaking virtual platform originally created to equip homeschool students with a comprehensive understanding of the law. What started as a niche program for homeschoolers has now expanded into public, private, and charter schools nationwide. Administrators actively seek to license the academy’s three-tiered curriculum—Foundations, **Essentials, and **Advanced*—integrating these resources into civics, leadership, and pre-law tracks. Through interactive constitutional debates, contract drafting, and appellate advocacy, the program empowers students to appreciate democracy, comprehend the Constitution, and understand the intentions of the forefathers. Cassandre believes deeply in the Socratic method of teaching and all that it brings—fostering curiosity, sharpening reasoning, and building confidence through thoughtful questioning and dialogue. She emphasizes civil discourse, teaching that it’s acceptable—and essential—to agree to disagree in a diverse society.

In addition, Cassandre is a vital stakeholder in the Treasure Coast community, where she supports immigrants through organized roundtable discussions. These gatherings unite members of the immigration community, addressing critical topics such as employment, medical access, and educational resources, while fostering connection, belonging, and empowerment.

She also serves on the boards of several nonprofit organizations, where she guides churches, schools, and community groups through complex legal paperwork—drafting bylaws, securing tax-exempt status, navigating compliance issues, and reviewing contracts. Her practical, hands-on assistance ensures these institutions can focus on their missions without legal obstacles.

Cassandre Champagne Agahro’s multifaceted journey—from classroom teacher to legal advocate and educational innovator—reflects her unwavering commitment to knowledge, service, and empowerment. She continues to inspire the next generation to engage thoughtfully with the legal system and their civic responsibilities.
